Kathmandu Sightseeing: Pashupatinath,
Swayambhunath, Boudhanath and Patan Durbar Square

After breakfast, you'll embark on a full day of sightseeing around the Kathmandu Valley. Your guide will meet you in the  lobby of your hotel and you will be chauffeured by private car  to three out of an incredible seven UNESCO World Heritage
Sites in the Kathmandu Valley. The cave of Naropa and his guru Tilopa is beside Pashupatinath temple, bank of the holy
Bagmati River. Two different caves of Tilopa and Naropa are Cave is considered as holy site because the cave is the place where Naropa received training and teaching from his Guru Tilopa and he had visions of Vajrayogini here.

Pashupatinath
Located on the bank of the Bagmati river, this is one of the world's most sacred sites for Hindus and has received
worshippers for at least 1,500 years. Non-Hindus are not
allowed to enter the main temple but may look in from the opposite bank. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the God of
Destruction, the temple complex draws tens of thousands of pilgrims and devotees from Nepal and India during the festival of Mahashivaratri (the night of Lord Shiva) that takes place in early spring. Also

Boudhanath
One of the world's largest stupas, Boudhanath is a site of great veneration for Buddhists. Around the stupa, there are numerous monasteries of the various sects of Tibetan Buddhism including one (on the west side of the stupa) that
houses an enormous seated statue of Maitreya Buddha (future Buddha), splendidly adorned. The main stupa was partially destroyed in the 2015 earthquake but has been restored. The bustling neighborhood, populated by Tibetan refugees, boasts Tibetan restaurants and thangka shops. The best time to visit is in the early morning or late evening when the place comes to life with pilgrims circumambulating clockwise around the stupa. If you're lucky, your visit will coincide with a Buddhist festival or full moon day.

Swayambhunath
Perched on a hilltop where the legendary Manjushri discovered the lotus growing in the ancient Kathmandu Valley lake, Swayambhunath commands a superb view of the city below. It's also one of the best places to observe religious harmony between the Nepalese Buddhists and Hindus (as well as great views of the Kathmandu Valley). The stupa—a dome-shaped Buddhist structure—is one of the oldest shrines in the world, established more than 2500 years ago. Along with prayer wheels and fine paintings displayed in the
monasteries, Swayambhunath also boasts the largest Buddha statue in the country.
